Early Years Teaching Assistant – Full-Time

Wigan | £83.33-£90 per day | Immediate Start

Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their first steps into education? Premier Education are looking for an enthusiastic Early Assistant to join a wonderful primary school in Wigan. This is a full-time role, starting immediately after half term, working school hours in a Nursery/Early Years classroom.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the class teacher to support children aged 3-5 years, helping to deliver engaging EYFS activities, encouraging learning through play, and ensuring the children’s daily needs are met in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Who We’re Looking For

We need someone who:

• Holds a Level 3 qualification (or higher) in childcare or education
• Has a warm, friendly personality and a big smile
• Can laugh at jokes they don’t understand (because little ones are comedy experts!)
• Is happy to sing out of tune with enthusiasm
• Can keep up with energetic little learners as they explore and play
• Loves a good cup of "pretend tea"
• Enjoys outdoor play and messy learning activities
• Is ready to bring joy, creativity, and patience to the classroom every day
